Donal MacIntyre: Creative Director
MacIntyre's reputation for bold, honest journalism has won him various awards including Bafta and RTS awards. Over the past twenty years, MacIntyre has tackled a huge range of social issues including Care home scandals, abuse against the vulnerable in the learning disabled community and most famously against organised football hooliganism. Most of MacIntyre's early career has seen him working undercover - a genre he has made his own. MacIntyre is now keen to explore social issues in an overt way and is contracted to be Channel Five's on-screen current affairs presenter until 2009. His partnership with Simkin will build MacIntyre's presence and reputation behind the camera. His directorial debut with "A Very British Gangster" the profile of a Manchester crime lord has won critical acclaim at the Prix Europa and is nominated for a Grierson award. It was also nominated for a 2007 Sundance award.
